Foie Gras for Lunch in SF?

Randomly, some co-workers and I want to get Foie Gras for lunch..hopefully today, but if reservations are required, we can wait =) The thing is...we don't really know where there's a place that serves foie gras at lunch....any thoughts?

I saw Naked Lunch has a foie gras sando - http://www.nakedlunchsf.com/ ....has anyone tried it?

That menupages link doesn't have accurate information. Most of those restaurants don't serve foie gras at lunch and some of them aren't even open for lunch.

I'm sure I'm missing some, but I've done a fair amount of research into lunch + foie gras myself, and the only places I know of that serve foie gras at lunch are Spruce, Piperade and Le Zinc. That doesn't include places that let you add foie as a topping to a steak or burger (e.g. Bluestem), however.

Also, I read somewhere that you can call ahead to One Market and ask for foie at lunch, so that might work for other restaurants that only have it on the menu for dinner.

Thanks guys! I will definitely have to give a go to one of the three places. I did try the foie gras & duck prosciutto sandwich at naked lunch....and it was delicious. Really really rich (i could only finish 1/2), and to top it off, they sprinkle black truffle salt. YES!

Yum! I've been wanting to try it for ages but never remember when I'm in that area around lunch.
