Reccomendations near Washington PA

Our son is graduating from Washington & Jefferson next Saturday. Any suggestions for good food in the area? We can do anything from fine dining to street but want the food to be good.

Union Grill is marginal at best..

Hog Father is good simply for the fact that it's the only BBQ place around but I hear Joe Biden really liked it.

The best place around WashPA regardless of price or food style (rating apples to oranges) is Los Chilludios. I have contacted a few regional chains (Big Burrito Group) to hopefully get a Mad Mex or another semi-decent food in the area. We are not a fan of the food that Washington has to offer - we would rather stay home and cook. To think people boast about Angelos being "true Italian" makes me throw up in my mouth. :)

Hogfather's on Jefferson Avenue is very casual, but the food is good. It's a barbecue joint, not fine dining, but my husband and I have always enjoyed it.

Try the Union Grill in Washington.

There really isn't much - try Bisteca at the casino. (expensive for the quality but you can gamble and bet on horses)

I would make the drive (40mins) into Pittsburgh... See the rest of this board for those options...

Thanks for the suggestion, we ate there last night. It wasn't gourmet but it was good and the non-foodies among us loved it.
