Thank you drewpbalzac for your comment. I wish I live near any of Wegmans stores. I am waiting for one in Columbia to be open this summer!

The Wegmans in Lanham, MD is about 25 miles from Annapolis - it's just one exit south of the Beltway/Rt. 50 junction. Not close enough to go very often, but well worth a special trip a couple of times a year :) I rent a car every now and then to load up on meat for the freezer and pantry items, it's a fabulous store.

June 17th for the Columbia store.

If you are one for drives, and want to take a peek at how your life is about to change, there is also one in Fredrick.

Or you could drive to Fredrick take Rt 15 South and cross the river at Point of Rocks. There is a Wegmans in Leesburg (I don't like the feng shui of the place though) or stay on 15 South to Gainesville, VA. (Nice store, better flow than Leesburg)

You could even hit a winery or two during you drive if you want.

Thank you both for the information. I have been to the Wegmans in VA a few times - amazing! Their price seems very reasonable too. I will definitely check the Columbia store out next month and get French olives.

Whole Foods carries them - I've definitely seen them on the olive bar at the P Street store.

Thank you Kathleen! I will go to Whole Foods in Annapolis tomorrow and check their olive. I was always looking at olive jars or cans on the shelf, not the olive bar.
