The last few seasons the blowfish population seems to be on the uptick. I have never made them for myself but always order them when the opportunity presents itself. My local fish market has plenty. Does anyone have a simple and tasty method for fried puffers? Thanks, CC.

  1. I wouldn't over think it. A simple tempura batter with a few spices and some hot oil. Dinner is served.

    1. I simply dredge them in flour and fry in butter...very briefly. Also good in mixed seafood sautes. I'm thinking of cooking them the way I make frog's legs, in caramelized shallot sauce. They are very similar to frog's legs, and that way I could get my wife to eat a delicious dish she would otherwise refuse.
