Fun - Good Food West Roxbury, Newton area

I am so sick of the same places. I am looking for a place for 8 people on a saturday night. Low key, jeans and shirt attire with really good "fun" food.

Blue on Highland in Needham?

Porter Cafe and Masona Grill in W Rox are good. Kouzina and The Local are good in Newton. 51 Lincoln is supposed to be very good, too.

Porter Cafe in West Rox - great beer selection and great food.

Love Masona, but I wouldn't call it "fun", although the bar isn't bad (and it's kind of small)

Check out West on Centre in West Roxbury. I had an excellent lunch there a few months ago.
