When I was a kid we used to get Pacific razor clams. We would dredge them in well seasoned flour and put them in a very hot pan with a good amount of oil. They only take a minute or two per side to cook.
Chowder, although it might not be worth it if you only have one pound. Maybe a pasta? You could cook them like steamers with whatever flavorings and aromatics. The fritters mentioned above sound great..
