lunch with not very adventurous mom Norwood?

bluerib May 9, 2012 09:14 AM

Any suggestions for a place for Friday lunch with Mom in the Norwood area?

This will be our Mom's Day meal so a little splurge would be ok but not a place that would require reservations as the timing is somewhat open ended.

My mom isn't into "spicy" so most ethnic options won't work for her tastes

Thanks for your ideas

Sky on Rt. 1 or Olivadi's in Norwood center would work.

Olivadi's is a great choice. Sky used to be good, I would pass.

We were thinking about the Sunday Jazz Brunch Buffet there. Should we rethink?

Conrad's in Norwood Center is a good place for pub grub and American food (their steak tips are outstanding). Further down the road in Walpole is Guido's, which is a decent Italian spot. If you want to do something just a little nicer (but still casual), there's the Noon Hill Grill in Medfield, which isn't too far from there.
