Tap Phong definitely carries knife rolls, they keep them behind the counter where they also keep the knives. IIRC think they have 2; one for $20+tax, another for $35+tax. If you're culinary student, don't forget to mention it, to get 10% off.

I haven't seem any at Tap Phong but I know for sure they have them at Nikilaou on Queen just east of Bathrust on the south side.

I saw one at Nikolai and Nella. Both seemed a bit flimsy and way too expensive.
If you search "knife roll" on amazon.ca there are a few messermeisters and some wustof ones, and the price is unbeatable. I think they are on sale right now, right in and under your price range depending on the model.

If you want the really fancy ones, you can order them from JB Prince in New York. They are pretty expensive but you will look good ; )
