Good Chinese food in Oakland

Hi, 'Chowers',
This is only my second post so forgive if not in typical Chow style. We used to have a wonderful,
small Chinese, Dim Sum restaurant next door to our building. Unfortunately it closed. Can anyone recommend a high quality Chinese restaurant in Oakland, or Berkeley, preferably not too far from
Adams point.

For dim sum, Hong Kong East Ocean in Alameda, closer than Berkeley.

Legendary Palace in downtown Oakland is OK for dim sum and pretty good for HK seafood at dinner.
