Fancy Fun

  • 1

BALTIMORE - Looking for a place that hopefully satisfies below requirements. Group of about 6 people, mid 20's to early 30's, celebrating 2 birthdays. Most single, we're still basically a bunch of "kids" looking to play dress up for a fancy dinner night out.

Young-ish (average age around 30)
place where a cocktail dress, jewelry, suit & tie wouldn't be out of place
Good food, decent value (I'd rather not pay $40 a plate for 4oz of food),
Atmosphere, decor, and/or view - should be lush, beautiful, - not loud,
Service should be impeccable, polished, but warm and inviting

So, far thinking about the usual suspects, but open to any other suggestions. If it makes sense, think The Oregon Grill, but with a younger crowd, and closer in to the city.

Charleston
Cinghiale
Wit & Wisdom, maybe

***I dined at the Prime Rib a few years ago, didn't like the dated decor.
Afterwards, we've got to find a place to go dance - club, ballroom, tango - open to all and any suggestions

Thanks everyone

  1. I have heard great things about the Charleston. You might also want to consider B&O American Brasserie
