Real Butchers in RTP area???

Not sure if this has been covered before but I am newer to the RTP area and can not find a good butcher like I would back home in CT. I have been to the Meat House which is a chain and is limited in selection. I wasn't impressed with what they call Pork Cutlets in which they take pork chops and beat them to death to make it somewhat thin but still not correct. Any help would be appreciated.

I know someone will recommend Cliff's in Carrboro and they're a great choice, especially if you're on that side of the Triangle. The closest I've found to a Northeastern style butcher is DaVinci in Wake Forest. They only make sense if you live on the eastern end of the Triangle, though.

King's Red & White supermarket in Durham is always voted as one of the best butchers in the Triangle in the Independent's "Best of the Triangle" poll. More discussion about triangle butchers and King's Red & White here:
