Fine Dining / Business Dinner in National Harbor?
I need some suggestions for a nice place in National Harbor (MD) to host a business dinner for 12-15 people. All cuisines are welcome and a private room, if available, is nice but not necessary. Are there any must 'go-to' places with great food and a view? I haven't to the area before so thoughts/comments are greatly appreciated!!

Virtue in Alexandria would be a good choice but they are very popular now so reservations for a large group would be a must but the food is great as is the atmosphere. They are right on the river at Union Street (close to the ferry). Please also note, maybe chartering a a bus and going across the Wilson bridge is also an option as opposed to the ferry and could be accomplished in less time, if you choose Alexandria for dinner. The Old Town Alexandria exit dumps you onto Washington Street in South Old Town.
Old Town has dozens of dining options depending on your tastes but other options include Columbia Firehouse, Brabo, Majestic Cafe.

The general consensus is that to get the best food, you should leave National Harbor. Do you have the luxury of doing so? There are water taxis that take people to Old Town Alexandria. Perhaps you could charter one for your group? Then we could help you find something better there. If not, the Old Hickory Steakhouse might be your best bet.

I would agree that if you need to be in National Harbor, Old Hickory is really your best option. I was there 2 weeks ago for my birthday dinner and it was a nice meal. They would definitely be able to accommodate a group like yours since it's in a convention/business hotel and they have a lot of separate seating areas, so they could put you in a more private setting.

What are your suggestions for Old Town? We were planning not to take a water taxi because the group is a bit large and we'd have to coordinate schedules/logistics... but if the food options are better, then I might spring for that.
Are there great dining options near wherever the water taxi docks on the Alexandria side?
