    The Old Dominion is one of those most ill-suited to skilletdom, but at least has a decent triangle's worth of cornbread. Feel for Marylanders with their crust-only version!

    I'll take Iowa. Best skillet qualities of any state where I've lived, and already firmly identified with corn...

      These are fun; however, my inner wiseass cannot resist pointing out Florida's panhandle is in the wrong spot. ;P HA HA HA!

      The best comment (on the actual article) is this one:
      Wingnut: "I suspect that snooty coastal people would just buy their state pans and ignore all the fry-over states." God, that is hysterical!
