Farmers Markets offerings

With the very early spring, are we getting fresh produce offerings at our Farmers Markets already? I know Mill City isn't opening until next week, but I think St. Paul's is already open. Anyone been there? What do they have for fresh produce?

Thanks,
Bill

PS We might head there today, if I can get the family moving. And, if so, IO'll update this with what I find.

    Answering my own question:
St. Paul has asparagus, spinach, lettuce, green onions and rhubarb. Also saw some oyster mushrooms. Radishes, too. That was about it. No peas, beans or berries yet.

How much were they asking for the morels?

Would be curious to know if the morel vendor was certified. There are only a handful of the people in the state that are legit. The regulations were just sorted out and people in MN can now get certified (previously you needed to be certified, but there was no way to become certified), which I recently did. I don't find enough morels to sell (at least not yet), but I can move some weight of other species.

Yes, the morel vendor is certified. To keep the food supply safe, the Minneapolis Farmers Market is closely regulated by the City of Minneapolis. This week, in addition to morels, asparagus, lettuce and spinach, our growers had rhubarb, spring onions, parsnips, and radishes. We expect more each week so hope to see you soon.
