Graduation Lunch
I have family coming to town for my college graduation. I am looking for a place that is moderately priced, kid-friendly, and not ridiculously busy. I know several of the large NTX universities are graduating on the same day, but I would like to avoid being in the heart of the madness if at all possible. Somewhere quaint but not snooty. Looking for around 2pm...preferably in the either Irving, Coppell, or Grapevine.

You could have your pick of chains in GV as well as N. Irving - but given your requirements, I'd probably opt for Tolbert's on GV's Main Street - if your guests are from out of state, they'd have a good offering of Texas grub, plus it's a great area to "walk-off" lunch and browse the shops. There's an ice cream and cupcake shop just north of Tolbert's! If steak would be a better option, (as a chain) Salt Grass comes through with a good, moderately priced steak - plus they have the semi-separated rooms for groups.
