Suggestion(s) needed: hipster place with good seafood and veg options

I'm bacheloring it tonight and have plans to go out with some friends. One is a veg and seafood only person, so have to take that into consideration. I don't know the Ossington scene at all, but was hoping to see what all the fuss is about. Can anyone recommend a spot?

Alternatively, we'll go to a Japanese spot. Maybe Zen or Ematei or Guu.
