iPhone view making me seasick

Starting some time after 8pm pdt Friday, pages loading in iPhone view scrunch in to very skinny with a wide dark border on the right side and then spring open to fill the screen again. This is a new behavior and the visual effect is making me sick to my stomach.

Ugh, now the twitch also occurs when loading each message board index. And when a thread loads, the page makes TWO spasms. I have cut down considerably on viewing this site on mobile, which means many fewer page views overall since I'm no longer OCD about checking for new posts on the go.

Fyi, not having any issues with Android (Nexus S).

Thanks for this. I'm seeing it on my iphone too, when I load a new Chowhound thread up, and it only happens once, as it first loads. Are you seeing it at other times too?

Not just new threads I'm opening for first time. Every thread, every time I open it. Occurs once as page is loading.

Right, I think what I wrote might have been confusing.

I see this happening every time I open a thread. But it's not happening when I load other pages....just threads.
