Heading to P-town in a few weeks, what's good?

Haven't been in over a decade and need recs or must eats in Provincetown over the long weekend.

Again, check the southern NE board; the P-town restaurants is notoriously unstable in quality, with significant variations from season to season, and this season is just beginning. The very old reliables are usually, um, reliable, but basically it's a crap shoot early in the season to see what other places are holding up or not.

Bob is right for current recS.

I always start my day at the Portuguese bakery..on Bradford at the landside end of MacMillan Wharf. Their version of French toast is great..mostly takeout

Tip's n Tops is an old time place that serves great Portuguese food.

I always start my evening with some local fresh shucked oysters at Lobster Pot. Rest of menu is not exciting.

eta...BTW, Its a straight 135 from Boston. Adjust from MHD. Don't cut off Long Point or Race Point...Have fun!

A late night slice at Spiritus is also nice.

Hopefully the NE Board can help. It's a tourist area and the turnover is incredible. What's great in one year is closed te next. MY rec have been there forever.

You ought to post on the New England board.
