The Club Room bar in the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza on Chess Drive (next to Hwy 92) is usually packed during home team games. There's also a burger/sports bar place on 3rd Ave (between El Camino Real and San Mateo Drive) in downtown SM but I haven't eaten there. The name escapes me right now...it's near Amici's pizza.
B Street in downtown has a few bars that might also work, tho I don't know if any have good food.
Steelhead Brewery in Burlingame is also a good bet but I wouldn't call it a sports bar. I think they have a room with pool tables off to the side, if that helps. I like their food tho haven't been there in a year or two.
