Visited Chicago years ago and dined at Gene Nuffer's Restaurant having Creole Shrimp Nuffer--a variant of Shrimp DeJonghe. The restaurant also had a salad dressing called Swilligan. Both were very memorable. Is the restaurant still in business? If not, can any one share the recipes for these items?
Was your last visit here by stagecoach? I don't recall any place by that name. I ran a quick Google search and found a single mention where someone was selling a lot of trade tokens, including one from Gene Nuffer's. These were used at the Berghoff but were discontinued decades ago, so I'm guessing it's been at least 30-40 years.
