Solo dinining near DuPont / Georgetown

Hi - I'll be staying at Park Hyatt Washington (24th and M) and am looking for a solo dining recommendation. Ideally, I'm looking for somewhere I can have a quiet dinner at the bar; no limitation as to the kinds of cuisine and fairly flexible on the price point. Thanks.

I'd also add the bar at Bourbon Steak. The cocktails are amazing and the bar menu is preferable, to me, than the actual steakhouse part. All of the burgers are fantastic. If you're a meat eater, stick with the beef burger. But I do love the veggie burger!

RIS is excellent and they have a great bar where a solo diner can feel very comfortable. http://risdc.com/

Another great choice! I have dined at their bar many times and the bartender always takes care of me.

I have dined solo often at Hank's Oyster Bar in Dupont Circle. Delicious New England-style seafood. I haven't been there since they expanded the bar but I usually get one of the high top tables or if it's nice out, a table outside. It's nice for people watching.

Urbana has a nice bar as well and is good for solo dining. Lots of great, seasonal cuisine and nice wine options.

In Georgetown I've been to both Peacock Cafe (American cuisine, great crab cake and veggie burger) and Bodega (Spanish tapas, don't miss the croquettes) by myself without a problem.
