Savory Restaurant in Encinitas

The Chef from the Four Seasons opened a new restaurant on El Camino Real in Encinitas. Wonderful Duck Confit and creative appetizers. Very nice, inexpensive wine list with an $8 corkage fee. Entrees around $15. The sophistication of the food far exceeds price point.

Nice ambiance (although it is in a strip mall) with attentive service.

I read it that way at first, too (but I did a doh! also).

Then I wondered if it was the same organization as the Savory's in Laguna Beach. I don't believe it is, but may rate as well.

I know where I am going to take my little bro and sis-in-law next time in in Encinitas.

Would you take kids there? 7-10-years of age?
