In desperate need of Dinner Recommendation between 23rd & 8th in Chelsea...

Title says it all - I'm at the Upright Citizens Brigade show at 9:00 pm this Saturday (on 26th Street) and would like to go to dinner in a somewhat upscale place within walking distance. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Chelsea at all. Does anyone have a recommendation? I like italian, mexican and american fare. Thank you so much.
