Where is the best fish taco on Long Island?

I don't know about the "best on Long Island," but Green Cactus Grill in Stony Brook/other locations and Funcho's in Riverhead both make a serviceable fish taco. I favor the authentic "battered" kind as opposed to grilled fish.

Gotta agree. Green Cactus Grill (11 locations Island-wide) makes a really good fish taco.

Just tried Funcho fish taco for the first time, was hoping for great but it was just OK. Don't think they even put any cabbage in it? My friend was surprised when I only ordered one, and I saw why after the fact.

Recently Lola in Great Neck was serving a fantastic fish taco. Their menu changes, though, so I don't know how long it will be there. 516 American Bistro used to have a good fish taco as well, but I'm not sure if the new restaurant in the same spot still has them either.

Cabo Fresh in Stony Brook near the multiplex movie theater has excellent tuna tacos.

Hands down Mexican Grill 2000 in Patchogue on 112. If you can find it you'll be pleasantly suprised..... Oh yea the Shrimp Burrito and Taco Al Pastore are excellent as well

Canal Cafe had fish tacos on the special menu and they were fabulous.

Ah well, I snoozed and I losed. I'm spoiled by the ones in San Diego but it's been awhile.
