We have 3 nights and 2 days in Capri. We are planning on doing one dinner at Del Gelsomina in ana capri, one lunch at la fontelina, and one lunch at Il riccio.
For our other two dinners, which of the following do you recommend. We'd like to have at least one where we get a feel of the "scene" in Capri.
I was on Capri for a day trip a couple of weeks ago and had a lovely lunch at Aurora. My husband had insalata caprese followed by riso a sartu, and I had a plate of grilled vegetables, then torta di pasta (the pasta was formed into a cake, coated with breadcrumbs and fried, then sauced with zucchini). Capri is, of course, not inexpensive, but we thought the food was delicious and the servers friendly at Aurora. We'd certainly go back.
A very romantic dinner at sunset at L'Approdo, in Marina Grande, baby shrimps for appetizers, a delicious catalana lobster like main course, and please don't miss the dessert! Great atmosphere, great service, very friendly servers. We came back the day after for a light lunch before leave the island, we ordered a good seafood salad and a pizza to share, cooked in wood oven, crispy and with fresh basil leaves. Highly recommended.
