Where can I buy Shaoxing rice wine in St. Louis, MO
After numerous searches, I finally found some online...in New Jersey.
St. Louis is about an hour and a half drive for me, and I'd like to just walk in a market and buy a bottle. I DON'T want cooking wine.
Thanks
Marsha

I would bet on the places on Olive. I was looking for an obscure vinegar last time I was in the Olive Farmers Market and they have shelves of vinegar but unless you speak the language, I would bring a picture.
In addition to the places hill food said, Lukas liquor may have it. -
if you can't find it between Jay Asia (South Grand), Global Foods (N. Kirkwood Road), Seafood City (Olive between Hanley and I-170) and across the street the Olive Street Farmer's Market (not really a farmer's market) then I give up all faith in our grand experiment known as the melting pot. the last 2 have a specific liquor section.
another possibility would be call the liquor store Starrs on Big Bend just South of Clayton Road or what is that place on Jefferson near I-44, Randall's?
where are you coming from? I'm spending a lot of time in the Rolla area these days and would like to hear where I might find a VN/Thai fish sauce nearby out here.
