San Sebastian - Ni Neu restaurant reviews

Any opinions on Ni Neu? Looks like great food (and quite innovative) while being much more reasonably priced than the big dogs (Arzak, Akellare, Mugaritz, etc)

Bodegon Alejandro. Wonderful. And in a city of more-inventive-than-thou cuisine, its traditional dishes are refreshing.

Very good One of our fave pintxos bars, along with Astelena and Zeruko.

Astelena really is unbeatable I think. Better then the majority of the celebrated ones and a wonderful atmosphere, decor and location.

Is Astelena a pintxos bar or a full blown sit-down restaurant?

You can also sit down outside on the terrace in the nice square and have your dishes brought to your table.

thanks, sorry about. There are so many great places that I had to make a spreadsheet so that we can try to hit as many as possible. Last time I was there I was able to hit about 10 per day...then again, I came back 10 pounds heavier.

Yes Pintxos as Parigi says. There is some confusion when you Google it but the place on the corner of the Plaza de la Constitution is definitely pintxos. Wonderful place.
