3 Nights in Venice

I am going to be in Venice for 2.5 days & 3 nights. I am looking for 2 lunches & 3 dinners.  My girlfriend does not eat pork and generally prefers simple food that is not too gourmet. Pasta, Chicken, Fish, Pizza - All simply done without too many ingredients. I enjoy simple food also, but love creative menus with fresh food and I'll eat pretty much anything. So as long as the menu has a few simple options for my girlfriend it will be fine.

I would like 1 of the dinners to be a very romantic setting. I don't mind paying for good food, but don't want to eat somewhere that is ridiculously expensive. Inexpensive, moderately priced, & even expensive is Ok (if worth it)... Just nothing that is ridiculous.

I prefer restaurants that aren't too touristy, but care more that the food is good and that the atmosphere is either fun or romantic. I don't like eating in empty restaurants and I hate bad service, but if the food is that good I can deal.

I have tried to do research, but have found it a little overwhelming choosing restaurants. We are staying in Dorsoduro, but I don't mind traveling for a good meal.

These are the restaurants that I have either found by doing research online or recommendations from the travel agent. Please let me know what you think of these places and if you recommend any others it would be greatly appreciated.

  1. As long as you're in Dorsoduro, I'll recommend one of my favorites: Avogoria. When walking from the Accademia towards Campo Santa Margarita, take the immediate left upon entering Campo San Barnaba. Keep on until you cross one bridge. Its a hundred or so feet ahead on the left. The nondescript building houses a very modern interior (don't miss the bathrooms). There's a twenty foot square interior courtyard with a few tables, too. For some reason, its not uniformly too well regarded, but I like it.
