Really good lunch around Eatontown

I need to be in Eatontown on a Saturday.
Can anyone recommend a place there or north of there for an excellent meal. Light food is better. Japanese/Chinese/Thai is ideal.

    Since Tapas is directionally challenged :), let me suggest Far East Taste in Eatontown, or Kanji in Tinton Falls/Shrewsbury. Kanji would be my choice, best sushi on Monmouth County, but FET gives a more pan-Asian selection.

      That just about covers it. :) I wonder how those places are doing with the closing of Ft. Monmouth...

        At least some are doing fine. When I stopped into Eastern Empire in Lincroft, I asked the manager/owner(?) about his other about his other stores, and he told me they're doing fine, as busy as ever.

          Thank you all for your replies. We went Kanji and it had very good, fresh fish. The service was excellent.
          I highly recommend it.

      Try Adas Latin Flavor on Broadway in long branch also so good!
