Graduation Diner Near Union Square

Coming to SF from LA for my son's graduation. Looking for a fun place, with good food and a full bar for a party of 8 near Union Square. Food should be good, but a fun casual vibe. Open to different cuisines. Your help is much appreciated.

Kuleto's is another great suggestion; I've hosted afternoon wedding luncheons there for friends who wanted someplace to celebrate and dine well that is near Union Square.

We've gone to Lulu's, which is South of Market (SOMA) and not that far away, for events like that. It's a crowd-pleaser!
