osgoode hall restaurant
Haven't been to Toronto's "best kept lunch secret" in years.
Anyone been in the last while? Is the prix fixe still as good as I remember?

I went for lunch last summer with colleagues and it was delicious. I had a butter roasted trout, and while it was not revelatory in any way, it was perfectly executed. Good service too. A very civilized lunch at reasonable prices given the quality.

re: Splendid Wine Snob
Completely agree with your assessment. was there thwice last week (lucky me) had sea bream in beurre blanc with lovely spuds and veg and rhubarb crumble afterwards. Previous lunch I had a creamy feta and roasted cherry tomato quich, rich and light at the same time. Then a perfect rhubarb compote with fluffy whipped marsscapone inside a filo envelope. Service is professional and unintrusive, the room is great, no music thankfully, you can have civilized conversation in a normal tone of voice. Love this place! Hurry before they close for summer hiatus - no weekends or dinners sadly.

You MUST mean Osgoode Hall at University & Queen, and not the Law School at York, correct?
