Help...Guy Looking For a Fun Restaurant For 23rd Birthday With Friends: Must Have Good Food!

Hey... So I'm turning 23 in July and I was looking for a Fun restaurant I could go with friends before the bars. I want a place with good drinks, good food, and a fun atmosphere. Type of cuisine is not too important to me as I'm not picky.

Any Suggestions Please!?

How about DBGB? It's got great sausage and beer, definately a manly vibe, think you might have some fun there.

Standard Biergarten, Blue Smoke and Hill Country could work.

I didn't think the Biergarten had really good food from what I tried (pretzel, some sausages).

He said he wanted good, not really good, haha. I thought it was ok given the atmosphere. I feel like a lot of fun, birthday kind of places do not have great food unfortunately.

Yea it is two separate events. That is for my school friends. The other is for my home friends. It didn't make sense to go out with twenty people in one night so I'm splitting the nights but thank you

Which meal? Dinner? Are you open to a boozy brunch/lunch if that suits your budget?
How much you want to spend and does that include drinks? (Remember tax and tip adds another 25% or so.)
How many people we talking about?
All fun- and good-loving 23 year olds or thereabouts?

I'm sorry for such few details. You're right. First and foremost, it's definitely going to be a dinner. Amount of people is around 8. We're all looking to spend 20-30 dollars not including drinks or tip because I don't want to limit us too much but also nothing crazy because some are still in grad school and don't have jobs yet.

I am not picky about cuisine. Were all a bunch of outgoing guys. It could be a loud place but doesn't have to be. Is that better?
