Good Chinese in Hamilton ?

I have an uncle turning 93 (!!) this weekend and we are taking him out to dinner. His favorite restaurant food is Chinese but his little local joint has closed. I know there is a Mandarin (went to one once 20 odd years ago) and someone recommended the Kings Buffet at Barton / Centennial, but I could really use some help.

Can anyone recommend a really good "eat in" Chinese place in Hamilton / Stoney Creek area ? Doesn't have to be a buffet.

the best chinese in Hamilton is, by far, Sparkle (on king and walnut)
but it is northern style chinese, and can be very spicy.
the best cantonese style chinese place of that type is probably Crystal Dynasty. They have really good Hot and Sour Soup.
