The Taco Truck food truck
I live in Rozzie, and at the Gourmet Catering site that appears to be serving as a commisary for some food trucks I keep seeing a truck called The Taco Truck. I have gone to their website in search of their location in the Boston area and have come up with just that, located in the Boston area. I would love to try these guys, anyone spotted this truck in the wild???

I just tried them today for lunch at City Hall Plaza. Got the salad w/ carnitas.
This wasn't my first choice. They were out of tortilla chips at NOON (really?), so I didn't get to try the guac and chips, which is my usual go-to for testing a new mexican food place/truck.
The pineapple vinaigrette was the highlight and saving grace for the salad. for 12 bucks I got mixed greens, a lump of tomatoes, and a small amount of pork (that I paid three bucks more for).
Not worth the cost, especially with the yumminess of Chinese Sausage tacos right next to them at Staff Meal Truck.

Just tried them at Gov't Center - had two HONGOS tacos - $4.50
Mixed mushrooms, seasonal vegetables and epazote with lime-pickled onions and chipotle salsa
Added cotija cheese for $0.75, which was worth it.
The veggies had a nice chew to them - really strong flavors, decent kick from the salsa - an excellent bite all-around. -

visited them for lunch today (Friday) at corner of Washington & Boylston in Downtown crossing. very tasty fish taco, although not a huge amount of fish (maybe 3 crispy fried nuggets of catfish). I would get it again, although for $5 (plus 75cents for guac) it's not cheap. Didnt have the cilantro/ lime/ cabbage/ onion thing going that Rubio's does, more heat and garlic with some crema, but very tasty.
