Pea shoots
I wanted to make a recipe for Mushroom, Goat Cheese Omelet with "Pea Shoots" for Mother's Day.
I called Whole Foods and they don't carry Pea shoots. Does anyone know where I can find them? I live in Plano.

Sorry for the late response. I haven't checked in here in a while. Carrollton Plaza Supermarket in Carrollton often has pea shoots, and theirs are very fresh unlike some other places where I've seen them. They had them when I was there last Friday. Carrollton Plaza is at the southeast corner of Frankford and Josey.

Are you wanting the actual pea tendril or pea shoot
Pea Tendril

)http://www.sproutpeople.com/pics/seed...The two have two different retailers....pea shoots I would say are available at most Asian markets as noted above and the tendrils Spicers might have depending on the season. You could call Spicer but good luck on the language barrier at the Asian markets.

re: energystar
Look up many of my past recommendations especially for ethnic food. Plano, Carrollton, Irving and Richardson are the best places. I just have grown tired of constantly repating posts.
If you need more recommendations as far as produce b/c appearantly you do quite a bit of cooking let me know. I can point you in the right direction without having to constantly drive into Dallas proper
