I didn't know I needed a new hand held mixer.

My very old Black and Decker still made a pretty good seven minute frosting. But it was decades old.

I bought a far from top of the line Oster.

This morning, I made waffles. The Oster got better volumn on three cold and relatively fresh egg whites and got to soft peaks faster than the Black and Decker has for the past decade.

Util that moment I doubted my Oster buy. Not anymore.

Are the Black and Decker and the Oster both hand held mixers?

Both are hand held. (How old is the B&D? It's either tan, gold or that kitchen green that was desirable decades ago. The color faded with age.)
