I will be meeting up with a friend I haven't seen in 10+ years; she is flying into BWI and driving north on 95 to Delaware; I will be driving up from Washington or possibly taking the train to meet her. I would like to find a restaurant that doesn't take either of us too far out of our way, that is good and cozy and where we can sit and catch up and talk for a long time without feeling rushed. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I like honey pig but it's not cozy. Depending on time/day they may be overcrowded.
I went for late lunch once and it was deserted

Our go to spot near the airport is the LIttle Spice Thai Restaurant. Every dish we have tried has been wonderful. The service is always friendly and efficient. We go there for casual dinners or to meet friends who have flown into BWI.

Uh, the url goes to a page listing various Thai-food associated websites.

Urbanspoon indicates the place is (temporarily) closed.

I feel Grace Garden isn't too far from BWI, maybe 20 minutes max. There is also a Maiwand Kabob close by.
