Hey all,
In town for a wedding this evening and looking for a great breakfast/brunch spot for this morning (Saturday) and tomorrow, before heading out of town. Would like a nice, hearty breakfast this
Morning somewhere in the Brentwood,Holmby hills, or Beverly Hills area. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The patio at Barney Greengras in BH is great for brunch.

Take a nice ride on Sunset to the Ocean and make a left. Patricks Roadhouse is nice and its a cool ride. Your just North of Santa Monica if you would like to do some touring. This is my leisure option.. However, its not in you designated area request. Gjelina is nice too and if your looking for a cooler vibe.

Aside from John O'Groats, the brunch at Scarpetta in Beverly Hills is really good. Also, Amandine Bakery in West LA/Brentwood is wonderful.

Great buffet Sunday brunch at Scarpetta Beverly Hills with oysters and all.

I think the OP was looking for breakfast today and not Sunday. Do they do the buffet on Saturday's by any chance?

"for this morning (Saturday) and tomorrow" Buffet is only offered on Sunday.

Go where the locals go - no need to drive to John O'Groats and wait forever for a table. Try Coral Tree Cafe or NY Bagel on San Vicente if you want to stay nearby in Brentwood. Or, head to Santa Monica and go to any of the places on Montana Ave, there are many to choose from, and it's a gorgeous day for SM.

I've always liked John O'Groats, every time I've been I got good food and service. Awesome pancakes, corned beef hash, biscuits...

Love the O'...and if you want your pancakes thinner all you have do is ask and they'll "crepe" them out for you.

John O'Groats on Pico Blvd. just west of Rancho Park: http://www.ogroatsrestaurant.com/# Excellent food (I love their pancakes).
