so will the new Hank's make a go in that storefront? I hope so - there's no lack of foot traffic, Anatolia, Meyhane, the Italian trattoria and the recent VN ops all closed for other reasons than lack of business.
I know I'll go. Hopefully the extra location will make things less packed, PLUS I get Gina's drinks. And I see it as something that neighborhood needs, since it's pretty different from everything else.
I'm not superstitious, but have to wonder (and I do know of most of the reasons why they closed) but it IS odd that four successful restaurants all shut doors after a short-ish period. they were all good and all busy and then some other factors stepped in.
