Friday Dinner near Chapman University
We're seeing a production at the Chapman University theater tomorrow night. Show starts at 7:30PM. We need some suggestions for dinner after the show because there's not enough time for us to eat before the show. I'm not familiar with the area, and searching Chapman University didn't help much. We're open to any cuisines. Let's keep the budget at $50 per person drinks included.
Thanks!

A third option is Citrus City Grille which is VERY nice. http://www.citruscitygrille.com/
All 3 options are pleasant.

Gabbi's (very close to Chapman) http://www.gabbipatrick.com/ but if you search for Orange you'll do much better in terms of finding other options.

One other place very close by is Haven Gastropub. I haven't been but it has gotten some good comments here in the past: http://www.havengastropub.com/

re: JAB
I like Haven but it is pretty noisy and very crowded. It is a gstropub. Gabbi's is upscale Mexican. Around the corner from Gabbi's is Avilas, which is more straight forward Cal/mex, and less expensive.
Another option is Francoli Gourmet right on the Circle. Pretty decent Italian. It should be easy to fit in your budget.

re: Servorg
Thanks for all your help! We went to Haven last night after the opera, and while it was a full house, it wasn't too loud or noisy. Service was terrific...our waitress was super attentive and double-checked the kitchen to see if the full dinner menu was still available. We had the duck confit poutine (super yum!), the Haven burger (nice and beefy!), and the pork rillettes (very good). I had an Up In The Sky cocktail, and the beer menu was quite impressive. We would live to come back here.
