Inwood--late breakfast or dinner?

Headed to 218th St. (west of B'way) for a baseball game on Saturday and would like to eat before and maybe after somewhere within walking distance. We will be driving in, and would love not to have to move the car once we find a parking space. We are happy omnivores (and speak Spanish, if that matters).

When I checked the Chowhound archives, I found that the Inwood and Washington Heights posts were quite old. I hope there are a few folks out there who can help me out with more recent intel!

Thanks!

The Inwood greenmarket at Isham/Seaman is open on Saturdays and has lots of baked goods, as well as awesome yogurt from hawthorne valley farms.

The Greenmarket is a great idea for breakfast before the game. And El Malecon looks like it will fit the bill for after. Thanks!

I recommend El Malecon, their food is always fresh and delicious. The mofongo is the best, their chicken and pork dishes are also very good. I am not sure if it is in Inwood or Washington Hts. They are so close to each other. In any case, this is Domincan food, as most of the restaurants are in this neighborhood. It is located on Broadway around 178th St. Parking isn't too difficult over there.
