I would love to buy flavored baked farmer's cheese. I have had it years ago in various flavors. Strawberry, blueberry or pineapple are fabulous! I Fairway Market in Brooklyn, is no longer selling it. I am hoping perhaps someone has a suggestion where I can find it. Monmouth county would be wonderful, but I am willing to travel if necessary. Thanks for any suggestions.

I saw it at the fairway in Paramus last week...never heard of it, and frankly i didn't think it sound appealing, but yes, it's there

Thank you so much! I will have to make the trek, but it is really worth it!! I am not a breakfast eater, but I have that for breakfast and really love it! I divide it into portions and freeze and take it with me when on the go. If you like cheese you may want to try it. If they have the chocolate watch out it is addictive!! Much thanks for your help.

Are you referring to the cheese used in blintzes and pierogi? If you can get your hands on farmer's cheese, the homemade baked version is super easy. In monmouth county you can find farmer's cheese at Sickles Market, Dearborn Farms, Delicious Orchards and it's worth asking the owner of The Cheese Cave for a source.

You might try Best Market which opened a couple of months ago in Holmdel on Rt 35 in the plaza at Laurel Avenue over by Barnes & Noble, Saladworks, Turning Point, etc. Don't know for sure whether they have this particular variety of cheese but I seem to recall they had a very nice cheese selection [including fresh mozzarella] the last time I stopped by to pick up a few items at lunchtime. Hope this helps !
