Family Graduation Dinner

My family is coming into town and they want to make reservations for a saturday dinner to celebrate my graduation. It would be for six people, the youngest being 18 yrs old. I live in the west village/uptown area, and It would be nice to keep it mod-priced, maybe entrees around 10-15$ max. Open to any type of food really! I was thinking about Monica's, Mi Cocina, Patrizios, Campisis, but would love more suggestions! I took them to dream cafe and glorias last time they visited and they loved both.

Congrats! R+D Kitchen In Preston Center might be on the upper end of moderate, but I think they do a great job serving excellent American fare (something for everyone), plus sushi, in a modern but relaxed dining room, without the volume of a chain (nearby sister restaurant Houston's does as well). Enjoy your special occasion, wherever you go.

Try Manny's Uptown. Excellent reasonably priced Tex-Mex in an old house. Quiet, and close close to but, away from the maddening Uptown crowd. Great patio if the weather cooperates.
