Who has best oyster sandwich in Sarasota/LBK?

Or grouper sandwich?

Going to be down there for a week at the end of May and trying to get the itinerary planned.

  1. This does not bode well...

We are planning on going to the recommended high zoot places for dinner but sure had hoped to get a sloppy oyster po'boy one day for lunch.

The oysters are around, but it's not po'boy country. Try the fried oysters at Star Fish, Captain Brians, or any of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar locations. For grouper sandwich, Star Fish. For grouper reuben, Captain Brians. For char-broiled oysters, Half Shell Oyster House.

    2. Duval on Main St has an oyster po boy for lunch. I have not tried it but they do all fish and seafood very well.

..when the fish and seafood isn't sold out....

Still their problem? That's why we gave up going there.

Truthfully, not sure anymore since we stopped going too.

      2. Thanks for the replies. We have eaten at the Cortez location of Anna Maria Oyster Bar a few times and like it fairly well for what it is. Half Shell and Star Fish are on the list.
