Any market's in the mission etc where they won't cost me 15.00 for a bottle?
Rainbow has them too I just bought them, ital brand, for some ropa veija which usually calls for pimentos.
Lucca Ravioli on Valencia has them, Italibrand I belive. They are about $4.50 a jar.
Does trader joe's still carry them? It's worth your while to give them a call--- they're 2 or 3 bucks a bottle when they're in
You might look for the Peruvian version, they're somewhat cheaper than Spanish.
willl do - where might I find those? what are they called?
Also called piquillo peppers. Topic on Peruvian groceries in SF:
Thanks I will check it out - very much appriciated
