Cocktails and Korean in ATL?

Hey all:

I'm gonna be in Atlanta for a 1-week business trip in a couple of weeks and have researched a bunch of restaurants through this board (thanks to all those who have posted queries and answers).

So, I think all I really need to know now, is where do I find great cocktails in the city? Are there any places known for their whiskey selection (I'm a bourbon lover, but drink pretty much anything)? Also, are there any really good Korean joints in the city? I will be staying downtown (Peach St. NE) and will likely use MARTA for anything I can't walk to.

Thanks!

This is a bit late of a response (I don't get on this board that often), but most of the Korean is in either along Buford Highway (which runs north) or north of Atlanta in Duluth, GA (about 20 min north of Atlanta). Georgia honestly has amazing Korean. I'd rank it amongst the top 5 in the US. As for cocktails? There are a ton of options:

    Holeman and Finch
    Miller Union
    Empire South
    Sound Table
    Top Flr

These are just a few. You cannot go wrong with any of those places for cocktails.

Not sure I can judge "really good" Korean, but if you're staying downtown there's a nice Korean restaurant on Peachtree across from Woodruff Park called Blossom Tree. I believe it's only open for lunch though, like many of the restaurants downtown.
