Portsmouth: Best Spot for Afternoon Tea, (Tomorrow!)?

Thursday we are bringing Japanese visitors for a driving tour of Newburyport and then Portsmouth before Boston dinner. What is the nicest place to take them in Portsmouth for a tea break? We're usually there for dinner (Black Trumpet and Green Monkey) but not tea.Thx much!

just to report back, we ended up with a front window seating at Starbucks, which was just fine. We could look out at the beautiful historic church and square and drink quality coffee and teas. Thx all your help.

I like Kilim but it is a funky coffee house atmosphere and I am comfortable in that. What are looking for?

You might try Wentworth by the Sea.
