Hong Kong House, Knoxville, closed; will become a 'crazy donkey'

The restaurant that had Peter Chang as chef for a while has now closed. We drove by today, there was no "we've moved to......", only signs that they were soon to reopen as El Loco Burro.

This is very sad news indeed! My top priority on trips to Knoxville for last couple years has been eating at Hong Kong House........ Heard anything since you posted this on where the chef is now?

There's a bunch of info about the chef who (IIRC) moved to Charlottesville VA and then to a town on the west side of Richmond (and may be in the process of having several restaurants).
Check the Middle Atlantic which has Virginia for the righ names of places and restaurants.
