Looking for an Israeli style toast....

Like this http://paninicafelv.com/menu7.html Any idea where I can get one in NYC/Brooklyn- I am not looking for a regular panini- I am looking for it on a jerusalem bagel (large, round bread with sesame seeds).

      Actually, I am not sure who it was but either cappucino or cheesecake17 (i think??) said Panini cafe was their fave dairy destination in the US, so I am excited to go to LV for that very reason!

      zsero- did Amazon cafe close down? i looked it up yesterday but the website was down and it had closed next to it on yelp.

      The Sunflower cafe rec and Hadar cafe are great recommendations- Thanks all!

        You were probably looking at the listing for a treife place of the same name, in Jersey City.

          Not sure if I said it as my favorite destination, but it ws pretty darn good! We went there maye 3 or 4 times in as many days. I recreated one of the sandwiches at home and it turned it pretty great.

          Hmm. An Israeli style toast? L'Chaim? :) Actually, Shelly's 2 pizza in Monsey used to serve it on that kind of bread, but then stopped making it because they said there was not enough demand.

            Sunflower Cafe in brooklyn serves their paninis on Jerusalem bagels. Cafe hadar has one or two paninis on the menu on the Jerusalem bagels, but I blv they will use the Jerusalem bagel for any panini if you request it.

            If you're just looking for the bread and not a sandwich, I've seen it in Brooklyn in mAny places but I can't think of specifics
