Anyone else a fan of this bread?
Every I have friends visit from DC or NYC, I make sure they bring me a loaf of their Classic Rye.
It's classic Latvian bread. And the bread is chewy and moist, but dense like a good bagel.
Lately I've been eating it simply with a good smear of Taiwanese fermented tofu.
I have yet to try their creations with carrots or fruits and nuts, as I have yet exhaust my fascination with the Classic Rye.
For those on the East Coast, if you haven't tried this, I urge you to go out and buy yourself a loaf, or two, or three ...

If you do decide to try our Fruit & Nut bread, try toasting it and topping it with some cream cheese or creme fraiche :)
